What is Interim Management?
Interim Management (Latin: ad interim "meanwhile, or for the time being") is the temporary transfer of management responsibilities. This implies an outside manager entering and being integrated into the functions and responsibilities of a company hierarchy, or used in a staff position.
As opposed to management consultants, interim managers are accountable for the results of their work. They cease working for the company as soon as their objective has been obtained and the respective business unit is established.
